Terms of Service

This is practical boilerplate for Gaultara consulting. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by an attorney before you rely on it for anything high-stakes.

Agreement

These Terms apply when you book, request, or receive private consulting from Gaultara. By booking a session or asking us to begin work, you agree to these Terms unless we have a separate written agreement that says otherwise.

Services

Gaultara provides private consulting, technical guidance, research, and implementation support related to AI workflows, cybersecurity basics, Linux, software setup, websites, domains, VPS hosting, and related operational topics.

Consulting is educational and advisory. You remain responsible for your systems, accounts, business decisions, security posture, and any changes you choose to make.

No Regulated Advice

Gaultara does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, compliance, insurance, or professional engineering advice. If your project requires regulated advice, you are responsible for hiring the appropriate licensed professional.

AI and Security Work

AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete, insecure, or inappropriate for production use. Security guidance can reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving anything before relying on it.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Gaultara consulting to request, plan, enable, or perform illegal access, credential theft, harassment, fraud, malware deployment, unauthorized surveillance, or harm against another person or organization. Gaultara may refuse or stop work that appears unsafe, illegal, or abusive.

Scheduling and Payment

Prices, scope, and payment timing are agreed before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the initial private consult rate and follow-on rate shown on the consulting page apply. Hardware, software subscriptions, hosting fees, domain fees, and third-party service charges are separate from consulting fees.

If you need to reschedule, give as much notice as possible. Gaultara may decline repeated rescheduling or no-show appointments.

Third-Party Services

Projects may involve third-party tools such as email providers, domain registrars, hosting companies, AI services, calendar tools, payment processors, or code repositories. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Gaultara is not responsible for third-party outages, pricing changes, data practices, or account decisions.

Confidentiality

Gaultara will make reasonable efforts to keep your non-public information confidential. We may disclose information when you authorize it, when needed to provide the service, when required by law, to collect payment, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate abuse.

Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of materials you bring to the project. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you may use deliverables created specifically for you after payment is complete. Gaultara retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, templates, methods, notes, prompts, scripts, and general know-how.

No Guarantees

Gaultara does not guarantee a specific business result, security outcome, search ranking, AI output quality, uptime level, or software result. Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gaultara will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or security incidents. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gaultara's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Gaultara for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

Termination

Either side may stop future work at any time. You remain responsible for fees and approved third-party costs already incurred.

Changes

Gaultara may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
